WiFi Technology Will Change All Our Lives, in Interesting Ways

Untethered intelligence is the wave of the future, and here today. The success of cellular telephony has shown us that people hate wires, and that wireless technology has a bright future.

The initial uses of WiFi, or wireless internet technology have been mundane, such as removing the tether from your laptop computer and eliminating the need for Ethernet cables in homes. Now that this technology is maturing, inventors are finding more innovative ways to translate it into life changing products – products that can make a real difference in the way we work and live.

The first of these products promises to reduce the cellular burden on our pocketbooks – WiFi Voice-over-IP telephony. Most cellular subscribers don’t use their cell phones very far from home, so why not have a phone that operates over local metro WiFi for a fraction of the cost. One company with an initial product in this area is UT Starcom – this phone is offered at a discount to Vonage subscribers. Other companies are looking to improve this initial offering, such as ipDialog, and Cisco Systems in the Silicon Valley. A key area for improvement is battery life – Silicon Valley chipmaker Marvell Semiconductor has innovated a chipset that will increase talk time to over five hours – moving WiFi handsets to a par with cellular. A use in the interested ways can be made with checking of the superboost wifi review. There will be innovation in the Internet connection will be done. The burden of the work will be reduced through the availability of the internet connection. The use of the connection will be the best way to perform work.

VoIP-over-WiFi promises to offer a higher level of Internet integration with telephony, allowing a user to integrate functions such as personalized recommendations for restaurants, chat, etc, into conversations.

Another great WiFi product is a forerunner for what I am sure will be more of its kind – Nabaztag. Nabaztag, which is Armenian for rabbit, is a WiFi enabled rabbit that reads RSS feeds, shows the weather on its belly, plays a tone when you receive an email, reads emails, and plays “Nabcasts” similar to Podcasts.

This promises to be a great way for the blind and vision impaired to send and receive emails in the future – and for improved efficiency as you can do something else while your rabbit reads you the latest stock report.

WiFi in automobiles is now beginning to be deployed, which will allow cars to connect to local hot spots to find directions,

locations of local fast food places, and much more.

Mass free deployment of WiFi in Metro areas through such carriers as Metrofree and Earthlink will further expand the market for even more new WiFi gadgets, such as handheld wireless games, PDAs, and GPSs.

Eventually, I predict that we will have a receiver earpiece – allowing us to receive WiFi in our minds and access the entire Internet for knowledge.

What Most People Want and Should Demand in a Weight Loss Program

The numerous amount of weight loss programs from which to chose can sometimes make the choice an overwhelming one. There are literally thousands of choices. Many medical clinics and hospitals now offer their own weight loss programs. Also among the choices are national programs available like Weight Watchers, and TOPS (both of which offer a group approach) and Jenny Craig, and Nutri System (both of which offer individualized programs and one on one counseling.) Additionally, many communities today now offer their own weight loss programs, while many individual specialists have hung their shingle as well.

Although most weight programs are developed with input from professionals, the actual implementation of the core program will vary greatly from one program to another. Regardless of which weight loss program you are leaning toward, it might be comforting to know that research indicates that most people really want the same three things in a weight loss program. Most people look for the following in their “optimal” weight loss program. Accept nothing less:

  1. A Great Weight Loss Leader: Most people say they want a weight loss leader who understands the difficulties and challenges of losing weight. The weight loss leader should ideally be sympathetic, understanding, fun, energetic and able to listen. Most people would prefer a leader who has overcome being overweight and is willing to share that journey. You should absolutely ask to meet and spend time with the weight loss leader with whom you’d be working if you signed up. Just meeting the leader on staff at the time of your visit is not sufficient. Imagine your disappointment if click with the leader you meet only to later learn that your assigned leader rubs you the wrong way. You’re going to spend a great deal of time with your weight loss leader. It’s very important that you genuinely respect and can bring out the best in one another. The demand for the resurge pills is rising in the economy because of availability of plenty of advantages. The intake process will be simple and easy for the interested person. The person should have complete knowledge about the intake of the pills to get a healthy and fit body for long duration.
  1. A Supportive, Educational Weight Loss Environment: Most people on a weight loss program quest look for a supportive and accepting environment where one can learn about the latest in food, exercise and nutrition. The environment should be empowering, energizing and make you feel more confident and hopeful, not less so. Some people actually like the “tough love” approach to weight loss, but most do not. Most people appreciate a weight loss environment where they are free to learn about and discuss additional personal or social issues which may be related to weight loss. It’s vitally important that the environment is a place where you feel safe enough to fully participate in all the program has to offer. Ask to sit in on several meetings or gatherings before you commit to any program. Sitting in on one session is often not enough time to absorb the information that you need to make a decision.
  1. Fun And Innovative Implementation Of The Weight Loss Program’s Teachings: Most weight loss program participants do not want to sit in a classroom listening to a dull lecture. They want hands-on, fun activities like dancing, biking, and learning to shop for and prepare their own healthy meals. They want to actually do and participate in these activities rather than merely learning about them. However, the definition of a good time is different for everyone. Ask for a list of the last few months’ activities and honestly ask yourself if you could eventually participate with your whole heart. The key word here is eventually because it’s very common to feel uneasy and unsure in the beginning of a weight loss program. You’re going to be out of your comfort level some of the time on any weight loss program. But, if most of the activities are ones that you could potentially enjoy, that’s enough.

Even if every item on this wish list seems to be a go but your gut is sending off warning signals, listen. Ultimately, you should feel welcomed, comfortable and somewhat at ease when you’re evaluating a weight loss program. If you feel uneasy, pressured, or alarmed, keep searching. Most importantly, don’t give up the search. There is an appropriate weight loss program match for everyone. You just can’t give up until you find it. Once you find your weight loss program, jump in and participate with your whole heart. Chances are your long term weight loss success will follow and in turn you can help someone else succeed in their weight loss quest.

Want Traffic? Then Get Some! It’s Easier (And Funnier) Than You Think If You Follow These Top 4 Basic SEO (Motivational) Tips

WARNING:

This isn’t the same boring, regurgitated, and plagiarized list you’ve seen plastered time and again all over the Internet. This list is intended to motivate you, to inspire you and, like the jury in a Catholic priest’s pedophile trial, to force you to see the error of your ways.

Read at your own risk!

Tip 1:

Get your head in the game. SEO isn’t rocket science, but to be good at it, you’ve got to want to be good at it. And that means you’ve got to put down the Wii, pick up the pace and tell your guild buddies that you won’t be logging in to help slay the dragon or rescue the elves tonight.

The only quest you’re joining for a while is the quest to shovel a heap of unique visitors to your limp, anemic, traffic starved website. And honestly, that’s going to take some effort. Although, Dynamics Digital SEO Agency out there specializes in SEO practices that will make it easier for you to improve your online traffic.

I mean, have you seen your weblogs lately? They’re empty. Really empty. Las Vegas convention for virgin strippers empty. Annual MENSA club meeting for cast members of Jersey Shore empty.

Tip 2:

Speaking of weblogs, how about parsing yours every once in a while. Too hard? Too complicated? Really? Don’t know what you’re looking at or for? They’ve got the software for that.

To use it, all you have to do is click a link and stare at the screen for a while. But, not with that same blank look you get when a customer walks in and orders a side salad instead of french fries and you forgot which button to push for substitutions.

It’s really not much tougher than that, Tools like Google Analytics spoon feed you everything you need to know (and force-feed you a bucket full of stuff you don’t.) Get familiar with a software package that can track and help interpret your weblogs. It’ll pay off.

Tip 3:

Learn the lingo. Do you know what PR stands for? Do you know why it’s important? Know anything about how it’s calculated? What about links and backlinks? Do you understand ‘DoFollow’ and ‘NoFollow’ and why those eight little letters, though similar, are a world of difference apart?

You didn’t seriously think you were going to climb the fence, wander into SEO country and expect to do really well without learning a little bit of the language, did you? Get a cheat sheet, write it on your hand or train a gorilla to use sign language and signal it to you.

Tip 4:

Read more. At least you’re getting this one right. That’s a start. Yay for you. Your mom would be proud. (But your dad still thinks you’re a loser.)

Try reading something other than your third-grade sweetheart’s Facebook status updates for a change. So her fake crops are growing and she wants to give you some. Who cares? You’re not special. I heard she gives it away to everyone.

Even if you have to fake an interest in boring topics like SEO, do it. Do it long enough and you’ll start to enjoy it. (Like eating Brussel sprouts or dating a chubby girl.)

Finally, essentially, in conclusion, that said and on a final note, I’d like to close with a brief summarization that restates the main theme of this list . . .

Do you want traffic? It’s out there . . . waiting for you. Get up and go get it!
